Advantages:

  • No morning line up for tickets.
  • All in one tickets that can be purchased before you arrive.
  • Valid at almost all the resorts overseas guests will want to use
  • No language issues at the ticket booth, just give them the ticket and they will fix you up with a day pass.

Disadvantages :

  • No real saving on standard day tickets
  • Pre-commited to the pass that you buy so if your plans change and you decide to have a day off or bad weather you may not use all of the pre-purchased days.

Tickets are Valid at:

Tsugaike Kogen, Hakuba Iwatake, Happo One, Hakuba 47, Hakuba Goryu, Suno Sanosaka, Cortina, Kashimiari and Norikura ski resorts.

Recommendation:

The "Hakuba Valley" Pass (formerly "All Mountain") is the easiest to use ticket in Hakuba, and worth the little extra for the sake of convenience but once the pass has commenced they can not be returned or refunded so the purchaser is committed to the All Mountain pass that they purchase.

Best Value: savings can be made by purchasing the Happo one 2 day passes particularly the 2 day consecutive Happoone pass.

Coupons are available for all ski resorts located in Hakuba Valley where you generally pay 100 - 200 yen more than the face value of the lift pass and you receive a 1,000 yen meal coupon for your lunch and some resorts like Cortina you also receive a complimentary Onsen. Just beware at some food outlets at some of the ski resorts don't accept the lunch voucher so it's best to show the cashier first before ordering your lunch. For the full selection of available lift ticket coupons please hit the link on the right hand side of the page which will take you to the Snow Navi website which has consolidated all of the coupons available in the Nagano region.

Lift pass options in Hakuba can be confusing so we are happy to talk you through all of the options when you arrive at the lodge.

Many guests who are staying for a week or longer choose to pre-order a 3 Day All Mountain pass at the time of reservation so the passes are waiting for them at the time of check in and so that they have passes ready for the first day and once you know where your planning on skiing we can talk you through the smartest way to buy the tickets for the rest of the stay, you have 5 days to use a 3 Day All Mountain pass.
